About the Role
The role focuses on installing refrigeration systems according to customer specifications, building codes, and proper piping practices. Responsibilities include piping cooler boxes and refrigeration cases, performing required electrical wiring, installing pipe hangers, welding, slip‑hosing copper pipes, handling cooler box coils, and installing or remodeling supermarket refrigeration systems, with additional duties assigned as needed. • Install refrigeration systems following specifications, codes, and proper piping practices. • Pipe cooler boxes, refrigeration cases, and perform required electrical wiring. • Install pipe hangers and assist foreman with welding and slip‑hosing copper pipes. • Handle cooler box coils; install new or remodel supermarket refrigeration systems. • Read blueprints for refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing layouts. • Hang evaporation coils, install overhead hangers, and use hand/power tools safely.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with 3+ years of construction or commercial refrigeration experience preferred, and hold an EPA Type II certification. Required skills include copper brazing, knowledge of electrical systems, carpentry, plumbing, refrigeration piping, blueprint reading, coil hanging, use of hand and power tools, and a strong commitment to job‑site safety and independent work. • Hold a high school diploma/GED; 3+ years of commercial refrigeration or construction experience preferred. • Maintain EPA Type II certification and experience with copper brazing and market remodeling. • Demonstrate knowledge of electrical systems, carpentry, plumbing, and refrigeration piping.
