About the Role
The HazMat Field Driver/Technician is responsible for the safe transportation of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste from various generator sites, operating straight trucks and tractor‑trailer combinations while adhering to government regulations and company procedures. Core duties include operating multiple truck types (roll‑offs, tankers, box trucks, etc.), performing LTL pickups, maintaining driver logs, permits, manifests, ensuring proper placarding, load securement, weight‑limit compliance, conducting DOT/MOT inspections, using company mobile applications, communicating with customers, processing waste streams, assisting with lab‑pack and field‑service projects, and supporting site safety and housekeeping initiatives.

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications comprise knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and compressor systems, as well as pumps, motors, controls, instrumentation, and metal fabrication; proficiency with hand and shop tools; strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities. Minimum qualification is a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with hazardous‑material and tanker endorsements (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days of hire).
