About the Role
The Project Coordinator role, based in Chicago, IL, involves performing a wide range of duties associated with a general contracting construction project from start to close out, operating as the administrative hub of a project team under the close direction of a construction professional. • Reprioritize workload when project shifts, ensuring schedule and assignments are clearly communicated to all necessary team members. • Confidently communicate with all project team members, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, project managers, and field personnel, to coordinate project needs and requirements. • Manage multiple requests promptly and reprioritize to meet shifting deadlines. • Facilitate the subcontractor bid process using all available technology tools. • Administer and coordinate all project documents from the initial bid through closeout. • Utilize software programs and templates such as CMiC, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, ShareFile, and Outlook to meet project needs. • Provide project support to field supervision. • Actively participate in project status meetings. • Back up other project coordinators during absences and peak workload periods. • Provide switchboard coverage relief.

What You Bring
• Prior experience working in construction or a related field. • High school diploma/GED required; college degree preferred. • Minimum 1–3 years of administrative experience in a fast‑paced construction environment. • Solid understanding and proficiency with desktop software. • Strong time‑management, written and oral communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

The target starting salary for this position is $30 per hour. Actual hiring salary is determined by factors such as location, transferable skills, work experience, licensure, business needs, internal equity, and market demands.
