About the Role

The Fire Inspection Compliance Manager ensures effective execution of routine inspections, testing and preventive maintenance for fire alarms, security, low‑voltage electrical, emergency communication and sprinkler systems. This role reviews inspection findings, prepares detailed audit reports with recommendations, maintains records, and coordinates with local inspection teams to address compliance issues while balancing operational efficiency and financial objectives. Key duties include verifying the accuracy of fire alarm and sprinkler inspection reports, confirming compliance with NFPA and local codes, preparing audit summaries, and ensuring inspectors complete reports using laptops or handheld devices. The manager discusses findings with local offices, facilitates ongoing training, prepares monthly awareness literature, conducts on‑site and remote inspections, maintains accurate records, and communicates code interpretations to stakeholders. What You Bring

Candidates must have a two‑year associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, at least five years in the fire protection/life safety industry, and five plus years of management experience. NICET certification in Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Inspections is preferred, along with strong knowledge of NFPA, IBC, OFC, ULC codes, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, the ability to travel up to 80%, and any required licenses. • Require associate degree or equivalent technical experience and at least 5 years in fire protection/life safety. • Minimum 5 years of management experience; NICET certification in Fire Alarm and Sprinkler preferred. • Strong knowledge of NFPA, IBC, OFC, ULC codes and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to travel up to 80% and retain required licenses.
