About the Role

In this role, the SAE will be responsible for achieving budgeted sales goals by prospecting, developing selling strategies, and managing a robust sales pipeline. The position also requires maintaining strong relationships with current customers, handling cancellation requests, and ensuring contract compliance to protect and grow revenue. • Prospect new B2B customers and close sales to meet or exceed budgeted targets • Develop and execute sound selling and retention strategies • Maintain a qualified sales pipeline and update prospect database regularly • Handle customer cancellation requests and secure contract commitments • Propose solutions that comply with local, state, and federal regulations • Negotiate pricing and service terms to maximize profitability • Prepare complex proposals and recommend equipment optimization or leasing options • Stay informed on internal sales tactics, operational capabilities, and market trends • Collaborate with Plant Managers and Brokerage Account Managers to upgrade materials and improve plant performance

What You Bring

The Senior Account Executive (SAE) will cover the Waco, TX territory in a hybrid role that combines remote work with occasional visits to the local office. Candidates must reside in the territory and will focus heavily on hunting new business through cold calling and deal closing, while also retaining existing accounts. Prior field sales experience in a B2B environment is preferred. The ideal candidate holds an accredited bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma with at least four years of direct B2B sales experience, including cold calling and appointment setting. Core competencies include relationship building, strategic thinking, negotiation, problem solving, and proficient use of computer applications. • Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with 4+ years of direct B2B sales and cold‑calling experience • Demonstrated competencies: relationship building, strategic thinking, influence, negotiation, time management, ethical practices, and problem solving • Proficiency with standard computer and software applications
