About the Role
The SIGINT System Engineer will support customer ground signals‑intelligence processing systems, applications, and frameworks as legacy systems evolve. The role involves daily interaction with the customer and contractors, adherence to government standards, and frequent coordination with multiple Acquisition Offices throughout the program life cycle. Key duties include providing expert technical recommendations, guiding integration of new capabilities, and supporting government acquisition processes such as Engineering Change Proposals and documentation. The engineer will define future architecture enhancements, contribute to cost estimates, and advise on system requirements, integration, verification, validation and testing. • Provide expert technical recommendations and engineering advice for new and modified processing capabilities. • Interact directly with industry development contractors on project status, metrics, and issues. • Support government acquisition activities, including Engineering Change Proposals, technical evaluations, and documentation (SOW, RFP, WBS). • Define future architecture enhancements and associated features and capabilities. • Supply technical and programmatic inputs for government cost estimates. • Advise government staff throughout acquisition phases, covering requirements generation, integration, verification, validation, and testing (IVV&T). • Enable transition of new capabilities into mission operations with the Mission Operations team. • Coordinate with internal and external U.S. government offices to identify and resolve acquisition‑lifecycle risks.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a BS in engineering, physics or a related technical field (master’s preferred) with at least five years of experience, and possess ten or more years of SIGINT systems‑engineering experience. Required knowledge includes SIGINT remote‑sensing systems, mission processing systems, strong systems‑engineering practices, SAFe agile frameworks, cloud environments, and security‑authorization standards such as OAuth 2.0 and OIDC. An active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required. The position is contingent on contract award and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on space‑defense initiatives. • BS in engineering, physics or related field (master’s preferred) with at least 5 years experience. • 10+ years of SIGINT systems‑engineering experience and knowledge of remote‑sensing and space/ground architectures. • Strong systems‑engineering skills in requirements, CONOPS, integration and readiness. • Experience with SAFe agile, DevOps processes and tools such as Jenkins. • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and security frameworks (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, UMA).
