About the Role

• Ensure effective employee relations, mentorship, and development during the shift. • Make employment decisions and resolve employee issues in collaboration with union representation. • Align schedules and verify employee presence at the start of each shift. • Balance quality, efficiency, cost, safety, and morale to achieve production goals. • Drive continuous improvement and oversee training, procedures, and JSA compliance. • Conduct safety investigations, report near misses, and recommend corrective actions. • Coordinate disciplinary actions with HR and the Operations Manager. • Maintain attendance records in E‑time and manage inventory and production data in SAP. • Spend approximately 75% of the shift on the production floor supervising operations.
