About the Role
The role involves general roofing repairs on occupied and void properties, replacement of roof tiles, felt roofing, wooden battens, installation and repair of flat roofs, lead flashings, guttering, fascia and soffit, roof insulation, vents, skylights and emergency storm‑damage repairs, while ensuring high standards and health‑and‑safety compliance. • Perform general roofing repairs on occupied, void, and community properties. • Replace roof tiles, felt, wooden battens, ridge, verge and hip tiles. • Install and repair flat roofs, including felt and asphalt systems. • Carry out lead work such as flashings, soakers, and valley gutters. • Repair and replace guttering, downpipes, fascia, soffit and barge boards. • Conduct roof insulation, vent, eaves ventilation and ducting installations. • Fix rooflights, skylights and respond to emergency storm‑damage callouts. • Identify defects, recommend remedial actions and record materials and time spent. • Liaise with site personnel to minimise disruption and support maintenance programmes. • Pass background, identity and security checks.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence, be over 21, have held the licence for at least three months with fewer than nine points, and possess the right to work in the UK; background, identity and security checks are required before employment. • Full UK driving licence, age over 21, held licence ≥3 months, ≤9 points. • Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship). • Ability to work with reclaimed roofing materials and adhere to health‑and‑safety standards.

Benefits
The position offers an annual salary of up to £35,723.62, a company van and fuel card, and is based in Coatbridge on a full‑time permanent contract (40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 8:00‑16:30).
