About the Role
Job Summary: The quality documentation specialist is responsible for creating, managing and maintaining documentation that supports compliance with AS9100 and ISO standards and customer‑specification requirements. This role ensures that all quality‑related documents are accurate, controlled and accessible, enabling the organization to meet aerospace industry standards and continuous improvement goals. • Provide manufacturing training on workmanship, assembly techniques, and AS9100 quality system per Aerofit policies. • Assist Management Representative during internal and external audits (AS9100, ISO). • Review engineering drawings, blueprints, orders, and related documentation for material and part conformance. • Analyze change requests for completeness. • Control Engineering and Product Development records to ensure integrity, accessibility, and proper scanning/photocopying. • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality to keep documentation aligned with current processes. • Manage document control system, including version control, approval workflows, archiving, and retrieval. • Create and maintain manual or computerized record systems with detailed part descriptions, quantities, characteristics, functions, and specifications. • Prepare and update part listings, bills of materials, and related documents. • Process and store quality records such as procedures, work instructions, forms, specifications, protocols, reports, drawings, and archives (electronic/hardcopy). • Release updated or revised documentation to authorized departments and organizations. • Stay organized in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

What You Bring
• Possess at least 3 years of experience in document control, engineering documentation, and manufacturing. • Be familiar with AS9100/ISO 9001 standards. • Work independently with minimal supervision. • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally, with strong interpersonal skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. • Hold an associate’s degree in engineering, business, or a technical field.
