About the Role
Building cleaning workers, including porters, janitors, maids, and housekeeping staff, are responsible for maintaining commercial and institutional premises in a clean and orderly condition across offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. • Clean offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. • Mop floors (wet or dry), shampoo rugs, wash walls and glass, and remove rubbish, gum, graffiti, and pressure‑wash surfaces. • Perform minor repairs, painting, carpentry, replenish bathroom supplies, and handle landscaping and snow removal. • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies; dust furniture and equipment; replace light bulbs. • Transport small equipment, set up tables and chairs for meetings or events. • Follow safety and security procedures, report unsafe conditions, and use equipment properly.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, with less than one year of prior work on a commercial or multi‑unit residential property, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand basic English. Required personal qualities include dependability, teamwork, ethical conduct, adherence to policies, and a strong focus on safety and security. • Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, <1 year experience in commercial/multi‑unit residential cleaning, basic English proficiency.
