About the Role

The HVAC Technician 2 delivers portable HVAC equipment to customers, ensuring safe installation, operation, and training of authorized operators. The role also maintains a clean, organized, and safe shop environment, prepares and tests returned equipment, and supports senior technicians on larger jobs. Technicians are on call for emergency service and follow all safety policies while operating company vehicles. • Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls. • Deliver, install, and train users on rented HVAC equipment, ensuring safe operation. • Obtain customer signatures and track equipment serial numbers for accurate records. • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, checking operation, specifications, and controls. • Safely operate company vehicle and adhere to all safety policies. • Clean, test, and prepare returned equipment to meet operational and appearance standards. • Complete required paperwork for all deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls. • Install flexible gas hoses for propane and natural‑gas applications and verify proper connections. • Remain on rotating on‑call schedule for emergency service, including weekends and evenings.
