About the Role
A Logistics Analyst coordinates drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous, efficient service, while overseeing safety, customer experience, and productivity. The analyst ensures compliance with safety policies, analyzes daily route information, implements routing changes using the internal platform, and leverages system visibility to respond to same‑day or next‑day service needs, improving efficiency and route design. Responsibilities include closing routes accurately, proactively resolving transit problems, managing driver safety and asset security, and continuously communicating with drivers to monitor progress and address performance issues. The role requires collecting and analyzing logistics data such as inventory and asset reliability to increase routing accuracy, creating high‑capacity routes, monitoring daily activities, evaluating swing routes, and optimizing disposal plans in collaboration with the Operations Manager. Customer experience duties involve courteous interactions, designing routes that meet service commitments, updating call‑center communications, reducing missed pickups, and ensuring the highest level of satisfaction by adhering to universal service commitments.

Qualifications include strong analytical, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills, ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software, time‑sensitive task execution, and at least two years of dispatcher or leadership experience.
