About the Role
The company seeks building cleaning workers—including porters, janitors, maids, housekeeping cleaners, window washers, and rug shampooers—to keep commercial or institutional premises clean and orderly. Responsibilities include cleaning offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. Tasks involve wet‑ or dry‑mopping floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, removing rubbish, pressure washing, and gum and graffiti removal. Workers also perform minor repairs, painting, carpentry, replenish bathroom supplies, landscaping, snow removal, and maintain flooring, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. Additional duties include cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, dusting furniture and equipment, replacing light bulbs, transporting small equipment, and setting up tables and chairs for events. • Clean offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms. • Wet‑ or dry‑mop floors, shampoo rugs, wash walls and glass, remove rubbish, pressure wash, and eliminate gum and graffiti. • Perform minor repairs, painting, carpentry, replenish bathroom supplies, landscaping, and snow removal. • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies; dust furniture and equipment. • Replace light bulbs and transport small equipment or tools between departments. • Set up tables and chairs in auditoriums, meeting rooms, or halls.

What You Bring
The position requires a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience, with less than one year of prior experience in commercial or multi‑unit residential properties.
