About the Role
The Electrical Construction Manager plans, directs, and coordinates designated electrical projects, ensuring goals are met on time and within budget. Responsibilities include managing budgeting and scheduling, administering contracts, overseeing documentation, handling billings, change conditions, labor productivity, cost control, and project closeout. • Supervise daily staff operations on assigned electrical construction projects. • Oversee project administration, documentation, and contract security. • Review, edit, and distribute project budgets. • Conduct pre‑construction turnover meetings and secure required permits. • Set up and maintain project schedules and procurement plans. • Negotiate, prepare, and execute subcontract agreements. • Manage submittal reviews, approvals, and logging. • Develop and obtain approval for billing schedules; manage cash flow and retainage. • Collect payments, progress billing, and retainage receivables timely. • Ensure appropriate staffing and labor productivity for projects. • Control tool and equipment usage and return excess rentals. • Monitor overall financial performance, cost control, and forecasting. • Prepare and submit monthly contract valuations and process subcontractor invoices. • Participate in monthly project management meetings and lead staff meetings.

• 15+ years of electrical construction experience with expert field knowledge. • Proven leadership of diverse programs critical to company objectives. • Strong negotiation skills with senior executives and top‑level employees. • Experience shaping business strategy and making high‑impact decisions. • Demonstrated creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning large programs. • Ability to manage autonomous individuals, managers, and cross‑functional teams. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
