About the Role
The incumbent will conduct electrical tests—including HiPot, Shunt Trip, component, configuration, NETA, and communication tests—following all safety and training procedures. They will verify that any wiring revisions released to the production floor are incorporated into the product, update all documentation to reflect the current revision, and ensure destruction of superseded documents. The role also requires documenting nonconformances, communicating production issues and design errors to the appropriate personnel, and confirming that required rework is completed while preventing unintended use of suspect product. • Perform HiPot, Shunt Trip, component, configuration, NETA, and communication testing in accordance with safety procedures. • Verify production wiring revisions and update documentation, destroying outdated versions. • Document nonconformances and communicate production and design issues to appropriate personnel. • Ensure suspect products are clearly identified to prevent unintended use. • Serve as an informal trainer for production personnel, providing necessary component literature.

What You Bring
In addition to testing duties, the employee will act as an informal trainer for production staff, ensuring that component literature and necessary product documentation accompany each job. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate’s Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics (or equivalent military training) preferred, and a BS in engineering considered advantageous. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in electrical testing and switchboard or power distribution wiring, with up to three years of relevant experience preferred. Applicants must be authorized to work continuously in the United States without company sponsorship and agree to a minimum two‑year commitment to support full project implementation; eligibility for other roles resets after this period unless approved by management or HR. Receiving an offer does not constitute an employment contract. The role demands strong verbal and written communication, persuasive and analytical problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. A thorough understanding of basic electricity, current flow, component functionality, assembled SWBD product designs, wiring practices, and applicable UL, NEC, regional utility, and customer‑specific codes is essential. The employee must be able to read and interpret manufacturing documents such as wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and testing procedures, operate multimeters, troubleshoot complex electronics, follow safety procedures, and lift at least 35 lb with reasonable accommodation. • Hold a High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree in Electronics/Mechatronics or military equivalent preferred; BS in engineering advantageous. • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in electrical testing and switchboard/power distribution wiring. • Authorized to work continuously in the US without sponsorship. • Commit to a minimum two‑year project term; eligibility for other roles resets after assignment unless approved. • Knowledge of UL, NEC, regional utility, and customer‑specific codes. • Ability to read wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and testing procedures. • Proficient with multimeters, troubleshooting complex electronics, and adhering to safety protocols. • Capable of lifting at least 35 lb with reasonable accommodation.
