About the Role
Participants will work closely with White Cap sales leaders in a 6‑12 month program, engaging in classroom, independent study, and on‑the‑job training to learn the business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills. They will prepare and execute account plans, sell White Cap’s value proposition, ride along with District Sales Managers or experienced Account Managers, enter and process customer orders, and perform other duties as assigned. The role requires operation of a company or personal vehicle for more than 80% of the work week, subject to an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. • Participate in a 6‑12 month Accelerated Sales Program with classroom, study, and on‑the‑job training. • Learn White Cap’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, and sales techniques. • Prepare and execute account plans and sell White Cap’s value proposition. • Ride along with District Sales Managers or experienced Account Managers for on‑site sales calls. • Enter and process customer orders and perform assigned duties.

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or one to two years of sales or related experience. Candidates must have strong communication skills, self‑governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence, with a competitive drive to succeed and a goal‑oriented mindset. Spanish language proficiency is a plus, and candidates should be open to feedback and willing to improve performance. • Operate a company or personal vehicle >80% of the work week; pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or 1‑2 years of sales experience. • Demonstrate strong communication, self‑governance, proactive mindset, and personal accountability. • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
