About the Role

• Coordinate communications with the NRC and facilitate inspection preparation and follow‑up. • Conduct and lead management and technical meetings related to regulatory matters. • Prepare licensing actions such as NOEDs, technical specification changes, license amendments, code relief requests, and exemptions. • Draft regulatory correspondence including letters, Licensee Event Reports, and information requests. • Research and develop licensing‑basis positions using historical regulatory data. • Monitor plant operational status and reportability concerns, notifying management of regulatory vulnerabilities. • Support site operations and collaborate with Fleet and Site teams to achieve excellence plan goals. • Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements (UFSAR, technical specifications) and ensure compliance.

The role provides regulatory support to ensure the nuclear power plant complies with the UFSAR, technical specifications, and other regulatory commitments. It involves high‑visibility communication across all organization levels and problem solving on a wide range of subjects, requiring excellent written and verbal skills. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution and at least eight years of engineering experience. An SRO license or demonstrated operational experience is desired, and prior work in nuclear compliance or licensing is highly valued. Periodic travel may be required. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) and 8+ years of engineering experience. • Possess an SRO license or equivalent operational experience; nuclear compliance or licensing experience is preferred.
