About the Role

Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety throughout the supermarket, performing daily tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping, and operating cleaning machinery. • Operate cleaning machinery safely. • Perform thorough cleaning tasks: mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping, and surface sanitation. • Clean in‑store areas such as toilets, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies. • Maintain outdoor trolley bays free of leaves and debris. • Follow all health and safety procedures.

Arcus is hiring two part‑time In‑Store Cleaners for the Sainsbury’s store in Truro on a fixed‑term contract until March 2026, paying £12.21 per hour, with immediate start available. Sainsbury’s stores operate seven days a week, and Arcus offers a variety of shift patterns, including early‑morning, morning, afternoon and evening slots, with both five‑day and six‑day weekly options and weekend work.
