About the Role
The Material Handler II ensures safe and efficient handling and movement of material throughout the plant, follows a daily checklist, unloads trucks, checks freight bills, returns materials to stock, and records transactions using established procedures and the Kanban system. The role supports other material handlers, maintains documentation, communicates with Supply Chain to resolve issues, and provides backup across teams, while also locating material for customers or supervisors as needed. • Handle and move material throughout the plant using daily checklists. • Unload trucks, verify freight bills, and return materials to stock. • Record transactions and manage inventory via the Kanban system. • Communicate with Supply Chain to resolve material‑related issues. • Provide backup support to other material handlers and locate material for customers or supervisors.

What You Bring
Physical demands include lifting up to 40 pounds, standing throughout the shift, and working overtime when required. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the site (unless active duty military) and meet education and experience criteria. Required qualifications are a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of standup reach forklift experience, ability to operate a box truck into a loading dock, and prior warehouse or manufacturing experience. Proficiency with AS400 and Mapex computer systems is also needed. • Lift up to 40 lb, stand for the entire shift, and work overtime as needed. • Hold a High School Diploma or GED. • Possess at least 6 months of standup reach forklift operating experience. • Ability to drive a box truck and back into a loading dock. • Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. • Computer skills with AS400 and Mapex systems. • Reside within 50 miles of the work location (exemptions for active‑duty military). • Equal employment opportunity compliance and adherence to fair‑chance hiring policies.
