About the Role
The role ensures unit standards for quality and productivity by checking proper assembly and installation of each unit and its parts, such as EVAP coils, compressors, bases, filter racks, blowers, condensers, and control boards. The employee trains team members to assemble and install sub‑assembly components accurately and quickly, keeps up‑to‑date information on unit schedules and procedures, and schedules production time to meet targets. Additional responsibilities include printing and verifying work order packets, confirming the availability of necessary parts, approving paperwork for sub‑assemblies and end‑of‑line checks, and ensuring all required sign‑offs are completed. The employee stays current on assembly procedures, enforces warehouse safety and housekeeping standards, inspects blueprints and drawings, and communicates effectively with management and the team while performing minor repairs and providing production backup support. • Ensure unit quality and productivity standards. • Verify proper assembly and installation of components (e.g., EVAP coils, compressors, bases, filters, blowers, condensers, control boards). • Train team members on accurate and efficient sub‑assembly installation. • Maintain up‑to‑date unit schedules and assembly/quality procedures. • Schedule production time to meet targets and verify work order packets. • Confirm availability of required parts (sensors, valves, motors, etc.). • Approve paperwork for sub‑assemblies and end‑of‑line checks; ensure all sign‑offs. • Enforce warehouse safety and housekeeping standards. • Inspect blueprints and assembly drawings; communicate with management. • Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and provide production backup. • Complete AAON’s Quality Team Leader (QTL) program. • Provide problem‑solving assistance and build relationships with employees. • Maintain satisfactory attendance; work variable schedules and overtime as assigned. • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

What You Bring
The position requires completion of AAON’s Quality Team Leader (QTL) program, strong leadership and motivational skills, flexibility across multiple teams, problem‑solving assistance, and the ability to build cooperative relationships. Reliable attendance, willingness to work variable schedules and overtime, and compliance with all company policies are also essential. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and additional education is advantageous. They must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, meet physical demands, assess work accuracy and quality, and communicate effectively in written and spoken English. Physical demands include standing still for 95% of the time, moving objects weighing 25‑50 pounds, navigating the manufacturing facility, operating heavy equipment and tools, performing repetitive wrist and hand motions, climbing ladders or stairs, and working in various positions and tight spaces. The work environment features humidity, loud noise, dirt, and extreme temperature variations, with exposure to sheet metal, mechanical parts, and forklift traffic. • Meet physical demands: stand 95% of time, lift 25‑50 lb, operate heavy equipment, perform repetitive motions, work in tight spaces and varied temperatures. • Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
