Senior Estimator - Data Center Construction
Lead cost estimating for hyperscale data center construction projects.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Lead preconstruction budget development and manage GMP pricing revisions. • Develop and refine estimates for hyperscale data center projects across multiple regions. • Present cost plans and estimates to client stakeholders and internal teams at design milestones. • Provide program‑level estimates and support value‑engineering to identify cost‑saving opportunities. • Review design changes, new technologies, and construction methods for cost impact. • Coordinate estimating efforts with internal teams, external consultants, and vendors. • Mentor junior estimators and share best practices on tools and methodologies. • Analyze historical cost data to build benchmarking models and lifecycle cost analyses. • Conduct risk assessments and contingency planning for cost and scope changes. • Ensure compliance with SOX controls where applicable.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field. • 5–10 years experience in construction cost management, estimating or pre‑construction. • Proven track record delivering conceptual and detailed estimates for large‑scale projects. • Strong expertise in value engineering, cost analysis and benchmarking. • Experience with mission‑critical or data‑center projects (preferred). • Proficient with estimating software such as Bluebeam, CostX, RSMeans or similar. • Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials and market pricing trends. • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to senior stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. • Knowledge of life‑cycle costing and total cost of ownership a plus.
