About the Role
With general supervision, the Procurement Data Analyst supports the Senior Procurement Data Analyst and category leaders by conducting stakeholder needs analyses, gathering and analyzing data from various sources, performing market and industry trend analyses, evaluating supply sources, and communicating results. The role also assists with overall category initiatives, including coordination of supplier management activities. Key responsibilities include price and cost analysis for total cost of ownership, maintaining and interpreting spend and savings data, and contributing to the selection and management of key suppliers. The analyst communicates regularly with internal stakeholders and suppliers, uncovers issues, evaluates options, and promotes resolutions. They compile large data sets, apply statistical techniques, conduct spend analyses, recommend alternative sources, and support sourcing initiatives while developing a comprehensive understanding of the supply base.

What You Bring
Qualifications require supply chain, continuous improvement, Six Sigma or Lean Sigma experience, and advanced proficiency with spreadsheet and database tools, including VBA programming, macros, and advanced formulas in Excel. Intermediate SQL querying, PowerPoint, Access, and eProcurement system experience are also needed. Candidates must be able to analyze complex business processes using statistical and analytical modeling, communicate effectively, and manage multiple projects with competing timelines. Minimum requirements are 2 to 4 years of supply chain or equivalent experience in fields such as finance, engineering, accounting, transportation, or operations.
