About the Role

The Leasing Manager oversees all leasing and marketing activities at a property, working closely with the Community Manager to set leasing goals, develop strategic marketing plans, and lead the leasing team toward budgeted occupancy while maintaining positive resident relations. • Set and track leasing goals in partnership with the Community Manager. • Develop and execute annual marketing plans and budgets to generate traffic. • Lead, train, coach, and evaluate on‑site leasing staff to ensure high performance. • Implement resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Conduct daily on‑site inspections, handle resident complaints, and ensure lease documentation accuracy. • Audit lease files for compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations. • Supervise planning and execution of leasing and renewal events. • Manage property appearance, coordinate maintenance requests, and oversee vendor procurement. • Ensure staff adherence to company policies, training benchmarks, and OSHA requirements. • Perform regular market surveys and adjust strategies based on competition and conditions.

What You Bring

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma (a bachelor’s degree is preferred) and experience in the housing industry, be comfortable with on‑site software, and possess basic knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. The role requires regular on‑site presence, physical activity such as climbing ladders and moving objects up to 25 lb, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, or night shifts as needed.
