About the Role
• Select sheet metal types according to building or design plans • Measure, mark dimensions, and reference lines on metal sheets • Drill holes for screws, bolts, and rivets • Install and cut metal sheets with supportive frameworks • Fabricate or alter parts on construction sites • Maneuver and anchor large sheet metal components • Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering • Perform on‑site or shop fabrication, set hangers, and trim, fit, hang, and seal ductwork
