About the Role

The Energy Optimisation Manager will lead coordination and delivery of Energy Conservation Measures across a global commercial‑real‑estate portfolio. Working with the Global Energy Data Management team, the role blends technical analysis, strategic planning, and project implementation to reduce energy use, costs, and carbon emissions. Success in this role will accelerate ECM implementation, improve vendor performance, and enhance project visibility and reporting. Over time, the manager will increase energy‑savings rates, create repeatable delivery methodologies, and position the client as a leader in corporate energy management. Collaboration with facility managers, engineers, service providers, and landlord representatives is essential for identifying and implementing efficiency improvements, while maintaining strong relationships with both JLL and client staff. The position offers a dynamic environment that encourages ingenuity and problem‑solving. • Develop business cases for energy conservation measures. • Communicate with stakeholders and manage vendor relationships. • Coordinate and deliver energy optimisation projects, including planning, execution, and M&V reporting. • Review technical specifications, ensure compliance with energy efficiency standards, and oversee commissioning and quality assurance. • Lead project management activities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in high‑pressure environments. • Engage with commercial‑real‑estate clients, facilities, engineering teams, landlords, and service providers to identify and implement energy improvements. • Apply behavioural competencies: think strategically, drive change, help others, get things done, prioritize business, and inspire teams.

What You Bring

• Hold a relevant degree (e.g., building services, mechanical, electrical, energy management) or equivalent experience. • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills across all management levels. • Exhibit analytical, organizational, and time‑management abilities with attention to detail. • Possess 5+ years of experience in energy auditing, commissioning, retro‑commissioning, or energy engineering (desired). • Familiarity with sustainability certifications, benchmarking tools, carbon accounting, and multi‑language proficiency (desired). • Ability to travel within the UK and across the EMEA region.
