About the Role

Key responsibilities include collaborating with sales, quotation, and project management to develop project strategies, reviewing customer specifications and one‑line diagrams, and ensuring orders meet technical and company standards. The engineer will generate all required engineering documentation—drawings, one‑lines, foundation plans, wire lists, and bills of material—for customer approval and will independently manage large electrical projects from coordination to timely delivery. Coordination with plant engineering and production teams is essential to resolve issues and support on‑time delivery, while providing technical leadership on MV switchgear designs and protection schemes. • Lead strategy discussions with sales, quotation, and project management for major projects. • Review customer specifications and one‑line diagrams to design integrated solutions. • Perform order reviews to ensure compliance with technical specifications and company standards. • Produce engineering deliverables (drawings, one‑lines, foundation plans, wire lists, BOMs) for approval. • Own and manage large electrical projects independently, coordinating timelines and quality. • Collaborate with plant engineering and production teams to ensure smooth execution and on‑time delivery. • Provide technical leadership on MV switchgear designs, focusing on AIS and GIS architectures and protection schemes. • Apply deep knowledge of Schneider Electric ETO equipment and tools (Order Editor, SEE Electrical, SEE PM, ACE, ACE Test). • Design control schemes using PLCs or relays and create, test, troubleshoot electrical schematics.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with engineered‑to‑order low‑ and medium‑voltage equipment, particularly MV switchgear design, including air‑insulated and preferably gas‑insulated solutions. Successful candidates are outgoing, strategic, and creative, with strong organizational skills and a self‑starting attitude. They must possess deep knowledge of Schneider Electric’s ETO equipment and tools such as Order Editor, SEE Electrical, SEE PM, ACE, and ACE Test, as well as advanced expertise in the ETO product portfolio. Travel of at least 25 % of the time, both domestically and internationally, is required, and familiarity with audio/video recording and production techniques is a plus. Technical qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred), proven experience designing control schemes with PLCs or relays, and a solid background in creating, testing, and troubleshooting electrical schematics. Proficiency with Modbus, TCP/IP, RS‑485, Ethernet, utility metering, and circuit‑monitoring applications is required, along with hands‑on MV switchgear design experience—air‑insulated switchgear is mandatory and gas‑insulated preferred. Knowledge of MV protection schemes, arc‑flash mitigation, breaker controls, interlocking, and system integration is highly desirable. • Demonstrate outgoing, strategic, and creative mindset with strong organizational and self‑starting abilities. • Travel at least 25 % of the time, both domestically and internationally. • Possess knowledge of audio/video recording and production techniques. • Hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred). • Proficient with Modbus, TCP/IP, RS‑485, Ethernet, utility metering, and circuit‑monitoring applications. • Hands‑on experience in MV switchgear design; AIS required, GIS preferred. • Knowledge of MV protection schemes, arc‑flash mitigation, breaker controls, interlocking, and system integration.
