About the Role
The Assistant Project Engineer/Manager – MEP role focuses on the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of institutional and school projects, ensuring that these systems are correctly designed and integrated throughout construction. Key responsibilities include developing the initial MEP design, assessing constructability, reviewing design basis reports, ensuring legal and statutory compliance, and coordinating with interior, civil, and vendor teams. The role also involves managing shop drawing submissions, overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of all services, and ensuring that execution follows approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality standards. • Develop initial MEP design and assess constructability • Review design basis reports and ensure legal/statutory compliance • Coordinate MEP services with interior, civil, and vendor teams • Manage shop drawing submissions and obtain approvals • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems • Prepare handover documentation, as‑built drawings, and test certificates • Follow execution checklists and maintain project schedule • Select vendors and materials in line with procurement processes • Lead training for takeover teams with contractors and consultants

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 8‑10 years of experience in warehouse or industrial projects for the assistant level, or 10+ years for a manager position. Technical awareness of civil, electro‑mechanical, and architectural works, strong organizational and motivational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential. • Require B.E. in Electrical/Mechanical with 8‑10 years (assistant) or 10+ years (manager) experience in industrial projects • Demonstrate technical knowledge of civil, electro‑mechanical, and architectural works • Exhibit strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
