About the Role
The Yard Loader Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently moving and loading bulk materials using a yard loader. Duties include daily equipment inspections, assisting with railcar and truck loading and unloading, keeping work areas clean and organized, and coordinating material flow with team members and supervisors. • Operate yard loader to move and load bulk materials safely. • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. • Assist with loading and unloading railcars and trucks. • Maintain clean and organized work areas to support safety. • Communicate material flow requirements with team and supervisors. • Perform basic equipment maintenance and operational checks.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates are skilled at operating heavy equipment in industrial or outdoor settings, possess a strong awareness of safety procedures and hazard recognition, and can follow instructions while working independently or as part of a team. They must be comfortable in physically demanding, fast‑paced environments and have a basic understanding of equipment maintenance and operational checks. Successful applicants must complete a post‑offer physical examination, drug screening, and background check, and must meet all company and regulatory safety standards. Physical demands include the ability to sit, stand, and operate heavy equipment for extended periods, frequent climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as manual dexterity for operating controls and conducting inspections. Visual and auditory acuity are required to navigate active work zones safely. • Demonstrate strong safety awareness and hazard recognition. • Follow instructions and work independently or collaboratively. • Lift up to 50 lb, climb, bend, and sit/stand for extended periods.

Compensation starts at $23.00 per hour, dependent on experience, and includes a 401(k) plan with automatic company contributions and matching.
