About the Role
The Field Ops Lead acts as the onsite field lead for emergency response and environmental remediation projects, serving as the primary point of contact at client sites. They ensure project scopes are met while adhering to health, safety, and regulatory standards, and they oversee safety for company and subcontractor activities. • Assist project manager with scope development, safety requirements, waste characterization, shipping, profiling, and documentation. • Supervise field work to ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to scope. • Coordinate with purchasing agents to obtain supplier pricing and develop project budgets. • Create and track purchase orders. • Compile and organize health & safety meeting docs, vendor receipts, manifests, air‑monitoring records, and calibration logs. • Schedule subcontractor work and verify training certifications, safety plans, and equipment procurement. • Maintain company‑owned equipment, perform regular maintenance, and develop maintenance schedules. • Operate company vehicles, including pickup/trailer or box trucks. • Implement technical systems and improve equipment operation through training. • Provide timely performance feedback to direct leader. • Fill in for absent workers to alleviate bottlenecks.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience and possess knowledge of personnel management, operations, equipment, waste processing, recycling, purchasing, work orders, special licensing, and DOT regulations. Strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize, and a valid driver’s license (or CDL where required) are essential. • Knowledge of personnel management, operations, equipment, waste processing, and recycling techniques. • Understanding of receiving, purchasing, work orders, special licenses, and DOT training. • Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail. • Ability to prioritize, stay focused, and manage multiple responsibilities. • Valid driver’s license; special license (CDL) or certificate may be required. • Minimum of 2 years related experience.
