About the Role
In this role you will enable project teams, provide technical leadership, and coordinate cross‑disciplinary efforts including architecture, interior design, MEP, and FF&E specialists. You will supervise BIM development, ensure high‑quality documentation, resolve design challenges, and oversee quality control to meet regulatory and brand standards. Additionally, you will manage client relationships, grow interior business, and monitor budgets, billing, and overall financial performance. • Enable project teams and maintain a positive team environment • Provide technical leadership ensuring compliance with hospitality codes, accessibility, and brand standards • Facilitate coordination among architecture, interior design, MEP consultants, and FF&E specialists • Supervise BIM models, drawings, and construction documents for accuracy and quality • Resolve complex design challenges balancing aesthetics, functionality, and cost efficiency • Oversee quality control to meet regulatory, contractual, and brand requirements • Lead materials selection, FF&E procurement, and interior design to enhance guest experience • Manage client relationships, project documentation, and build client trust and loyalty • Grow interior project business within the Workplace Practice Areas • Monitor budgets, profitability, billing, and fee management in line with firm policies • Handle accounts receivable, expense approvals, and productivity projections • Represent Gensler in professional organizations and maintain client contacts

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or a related field, with 10–15 years of project management experience on a range of architecture projects, especially commercial workplace interiors. A professional license, LEED accreditation, and strong knowledge of building codes, sustainability standards, and project‑management software are preferred. Experience with the full project lifecycle, negotiation of scope and fees, and a demonstrated commitment to sustainable design are essential. • Hold a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field • Possess 10–15 years of project management experience on architecture projects, especially commercial workplace interiors • Professional license or certification preferred; LEED accreditation preferred • Demonstrated experience negotiating scope, fees, and managing project financial performance • Full project lifecycle expertise, including post‑occupancy • Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and structures • Proficiency with project management software; working knowledge of Revit a plus • Commitment to sustainable design with experience in LEED, WELL, Living Building Challenge, or Net Zero projects
