About the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to lead overall performance and staff of an assigned plant, responsible for all aspects of the facility including P&L management, Environmental Health and Safety, contract adherence, customer satisfaction, and risk management. Key duties include overseeing plant operations and personnel per company guidelines, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, delivering contractual energy obligations, meeting profit and loss targets, managing subcontractors and their contracts, and providing regular sales reports to senior management as the voice of the customer. • Lead plant performance, staff, and overall operations. • Manage profit and loss, environmental health & safety, and contract compliance. • Oversee subcontractors, contracts, purchase orders, and insurance requirements. • Deliver contractual energy obligations and meet customer expectations. • Report sales activities and act as the voice of the customer to senior leadership.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience, 7 years of progressive experience in stationary or marine utility operations, proven P&L management, implementation of corporate EHS practices, and strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications include prior plant or operations manager experience in a large central plant, a Professional Engineer license, and customer service experience within a central plant or utility operations environment. • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent) and 7+ years of utility operations experience. • Demonstrated success in profit and loss management and EHS implementation. • Preferred: prior plant manager role, Professional Engineer license, and customer service background.
