About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s maintenance program—including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks—and assists with the make‑ready process under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend the community daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, including swimming‑pool care and chemical logging. • Conduct make‑ready and turn‑event tasks, ensuring units and common areas are repaired, cleaned, and stocked. • Maintain and inspect grounds, breezeways, and exterior areas, addressing hazardous conditions and liability concerns. • Follow Asset Living policies, OSHA/EPA standards, and keep the maintenance shop well‑organized and stocked. • Assist the supervisor with the hazard‑communication program, safety practices, and inventory monitoring. • Record service requests, maintenance activities, and make‑ready status accurately. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and perform additional tasks as assigned.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent; basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. • Ability to lift, move, and operate tools and equipment up to 100 lb, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform overtime/on‑call duties in various weather conditions. • Reliable transportation for emergency on‑call response.

Benefits
