About the Role
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical systems in data center construction projects. • Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements. • Collaborate with project teams to develop cost plans and support procurement strategies. • Analyze project requirements and provide value engineering options. • Perform cost risk analysis and assist in change control processes. • Review subcontractor bids for completeness and accuracy. • Prepare formal estimating reports, including quantities, costs, escalation, and assumptions. • Utilize industry‑standard estimating tools and software. • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market trends, supply chain conditions, and electrical systems. • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders in a professional, client‑facing environment. • Support development of estimating standards and best practices for data center projects. • Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and permitting requirements.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electrical estimating or cost management for construction projects. • Familiarity with electrical systems and construction industry technical matters. • Experience with estimating software (e.g., CostX, WinEst) and proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, client‑facing role. • Experience with mission‑critical or data center projects is a plus.

The salary range for this full‑time role is $120K‑$140K per year, reflecting base salary only and subject to adjustment based on experience and qualifications.
