About the Role

The Associate Photographer role supports Homes.com and Apartments.com by creating 3‑D virtual tours, floorplans, and high‑quality photographs of residential properties. Using a Matterport Pro 3 camera, digital camera gear, and an iPad, photographers work within a defined territory, scheduling appointments to scan homes and apartments for marketing purposes. The position collaborates closely with clients, sales teams, logistics, and management, while being overseen remotely by a Photography Manager. • Capture 3‑D virtual tours and floorplans for Homes.com and Apartments.com listings. • Produce high‑quality residential photography to showcase homes and apartments. • Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointment efficiency. • Conduct commercial real‑estate data coverage by navigating one‑mile grids when not on residential assignments. • Identify new inventory and missing availability for commercial property photography. • Follow CoStar safety standards to protect vehicles and equipment. • Maintain a professional representation of CoStar at all times. • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

What You Bring

The job requires up to eight hours per day of driving, standing, and walking, with the ability to lift equipment up to five pounds and perform repetitive hand motions on a tablet or laptop. Photographers must be able to work outdoors in all seasons and on rotating weekends, adhering to CoStar safety standards for vehicles and equipment. All qualified candidates authorized to work full‑time in the United States are encouraged to apply. • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management. • Minimum 2 years of professional experience, including real‑estate photography. • Hold a recent photography degree or professional photographer background. • Be a certified Drone Photographer with an FAA Part 107 license (obtained within 30 days of offer). • Demonstrate strong time‑management, detail‑orientation, and data‑entry accuracy. • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication and strong organizational skills. • Proficient with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications. • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment and possess a valid driver’s license.
