About the Role
The Community Manager will serve as the voice and pulse of Matterport’s social media community, engaging directly with followers, customers, and creators across global platforms. Working closely with the Social Media Manager Lead, the role collaborates with marketing, customer success, and product teams to deliver an authentic, on‑brand experience that showcases Matterport’s leadership in 3D digital twin technology. This position focuses on building relationships, fostering user advocacy, and driving community‑centric initiatives. • Engage daily with Matterport’s online communities on LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube. • Respond to comments, questions, and messages promptly and in line with brand guidelines. • Monitor social sentiment, flag trends or opportunities, and identify potential advocates or user stories. • Build and manage relationships with industry influencers, creators, and partners. • Collaborate with the social media team on community‑driven campaigns and engagement initiatives. • Track community KPIs and report on growth, engagement, and brand sentiment. • Moderate discussions and enforce Matterport’s community guidelines.

What You Bring

CoStar Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer, maintains a drug‑free workplace, and conducts pre‑employment substance abuse testing. • Surface user‑generated content and community insights to support content creation. • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, non‑profit, in‑person college/university. • Proven commitment to previous employers. • 3+ years of experience in social media management, community management, or digital marketing, preferably in tech, SaaS, or proptech. • Deep knowledge of social media best practices and platform trends. • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to engage both B2B professional audiences and creative communities such as real estate agents, photographers, and designers. • Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr). • Experience managing global or multilingual communities. • Familiarity with Matterport or 3D visualization tools. • Background in real estate, architecture, construction, or related fields. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
