About the Role

As a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician you will lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for complex problems, managing projects, and training and mentoring both service and contract technicians. Key responsibilities include promoting a safe working environment, maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems and control components, creating and closing work orders with detailed labor and parts data, leading and auditing preventative maintenance procedures, and maintaining positive relationships across the Operations facility. • Promote a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures. • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, relay logic, control components, sensors, and motor starters. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, maintenance, and parts used. • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures while mentoring junior technicians. • Maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility.

What You Bring

Basic qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, and reading blueprints, 3+ years using a Computerized Maintenance Management System, 2+ years with PLC programming, and experience in a team‑lead capacity that includes training and mentoring. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project and the ability to work flexible schedules are also required. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s or higher degree focused on mechanical or electrical fields and experience with robotic operation and maintenance. Physical demands involve reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using an aerial lift, and lifting up to 50 lb, as well as working in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures and wearing required personal protective equipment. • 4+ years experience with material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, and reading blueprints/schematics. • 3+ years experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • 2+ years experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) for document creation and management. • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts and lead teams, including vendor management. • Physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb, and work in varying temperature environments.
