Senior Project Controls Manager (M3)

About the Role
The portfolio includes projects directly managed by the client team or delivered by leading third‑party developers under client leadership, covering new construction, master‑planning schemes and executive fit‑out works. In this role you will supervise the delivery of PMO and project‑control services across assigned commissions, guiding implementation, reporting and stakeholder engagement while supporting team development within the centre of excellence and aligning activity with Mace’s strategy and performance frameworks. • Ensure safety, well‑being, compliance and sustainable delivery. • Drive client‑focused outcomes through strategic direction, service excellence and industry engagement. • Mentor and develop teams, fostering innovation, talent growth and opportunity to excel. • Design and oversee PMO and project‑controls frameworks, managing delivery across commissions. • Act as a trusted advisor, building strong client relationships and providing subject‑matter expertise. • Lead governance, reporting, baseline setting, risk analysis and compliance to achieve objectives. • Produce executive‑level reports, presentations and briefing packs for senior leadership.

The position requires chartered status or professional membership with RICS, CIOB, APM or ICE, proven PMO and project‑controls leadership on major programmes, strong commercial, financial and stakeholder‑management expertise, and knowledge of sustainability, risk tools and project frameworks. Experience in cross‑entity coordination and public‑sector performance frameworks is preferred. • Hold chartered status or professional membership with RICS, CIOB, APM or ICE. • Demonstrate proven PMO and project‑controls leadership on major programmes. • Exhibit strong commercial, financial and stakeholder‑management expertise. • Possess knowledge of sustainability, risk tools and project frameworks. • Have experience in cross‑entity coordination and public‑sector performance frameworks (preferred).
