Intern - Product Cost Work
Support product cost analysis using data, ML models, and engineering insights.
Job Highlights
About the Role
The intern will support cost‑analysis activities by preparing data, building data‑driven models and working with engineering teams to improve product cost estimation. This includes handling both structured and unstructured data and exploring advanced techniques such as AI and neural networks to refine cost predictions. • Build clean analytical tables from supplier quotations, ERP/SAP data, and internal databases. • Develop deterministic and AI cost‑estimation models using regression, feature engineering and time‑series techniques. • Construct bottom‑up parametric models and integrate AI layers that consume structured and unstructured data. • Apply neural‑network methods to estimate costs from CAD geometry or 2‑D drawings. • Analyse designs, materials and manufacturing processes to suggest cost‑effective alternatives.
