About the Role

This is a 100% travel position where you will install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecom equipment. You will climb towers and ladders, conduct tower erections, off‑load material, prepare sites, and assist with antenna and transmission line installations. You will also work with helicopters, cranes, and gin poles, and install foundations, grounding, and conduits. Additionally, you will mentor less‑experienced technicians and follow MasTec’s health, safety, and environmental policies as well as industry standards such as OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, and ANSI. • Install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecom equipment • Climb towers and ladders to perform installations and maintenance • Erect various tower types using helicopters, cranes, and gin poles • Off‑load material, manage inventory, and prepare sites for work • Assist in antenna and transmission line installations, including microwave parabolic and broadcast antennas • Install foundations, grounding systems, and conduits with related electrical work • Mentor less‑experienced technicians on safety and technical procedures • Follow MasTec Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and industry standards (OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI)

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, a minimum of four years tower experience, and a track record of high‑quality work. You must be able to read and interpret construction prints, possess knowledge of safety standards, and hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Physical requirements include climbing towers, lifting up to 50 lb, and working up to 12 hours per day. A PWSA certification is a plus. • Minimum four years of tower experience required • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to read and interpret construction prints • Possess safety knowledge; PWSA certification preferred • Physically able to climb towers, lift 50 lb, and work up to 12 hours per day • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
