About the Role
The role may involve overtime, weekend, and holiday work, and includes responsibilities such as maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order. • Perform new construction, maintenance, and repair of energized and de‑energized overhead distribution systems safely. • String overhead wire and set poles and anchors. • Assist in installing transformers, lightning arrestors, cutouts, crossarms, insulators, switches, and switchgear. • Replace fuses in transformers and clear faulted circuits. • Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools. • Identify primary and secondary voltages, induced voltage, and material types in line work. • Properly install, remove, and inspect PPE, cover‑ups, and rubber goods. • Tie lineman knots, make up and use hand lines, and apply grounding procedures and Kellum grips as needed.

What You Bring
Class C Lineman is an entry‑level position focused on the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical overhead distribution systems. The role involves work at various locations and may require travel to other states depending on customer demands. The position requires frequent outdoor work in all weather conditions, exposure to fumes, noise, mechanical parts, and vibration, and involves rigorous physical labor such as climbing structures, lifting over 50 lb, standing, walking, and using hands for detailed tasks. Employees must be self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and customer‑focused, and must follow all company safety rules and policies.
