About the Role
The Mobile Compactor Repair Technician works under the guidance of a Compactor Shop Technician A, Lead Compactor Shop Technician Supervisor, or Manager to troubleshoot, design, install, and repair compactors and power units while adhering to safety procedures. Key duties include replacing hydraulic cylinders, fabricating hoses and fittings, welding steel components with MIG and arc equipment, cutting steel using plasma cutters or torches, and fabricating steel parts for compactors. The technician also performs on‑site repairs at customer locations, follows all safety policies, completes required paperwork, installs company and safety decals, and escalates complex repairs to senior technicians.

What You Bring
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with welding, hydraulics, or electronics, and be able to operate MIG and stick welders, plasma cutters, and airless paint sprayers. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to follow directions with minimal supervision, and at least two years of experience with hydraulic pumps and hoses are required.
