About the Role

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑kept environment throughout the exterior and common areas of the building. This role supports community standards by ensuring cleanliness, safety, and timely reporting of maintenance issues while working closely with management and maintenance teams. • Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas, lobby, walkways, stairways, and catwalks. • Clean and sanitize elevators, including floors, walls, mirrors, handrails, buttons, doors, and tracks. • Sweep, blow, and wash sidewalks, entryways, and other hard surfaces. • Remove litter, debris, and leaves from the building perimeter. • Clean reachable light fixtures. • Sweep and mop trash room floors weekly to keep them odor‑free. • Position trash bins and recycling containers orderly. • Report leaks, pest issues, or damage in the trash room promptly. • Identify and report exterior building damage, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns. • Keep walkways, entrances, and trash room areas free of slip and trip hazards. • Maintain janitorial supplies and storage areas in a clean, organized condition. • Coordinate with maintenance and management to meet community cleanliness and safety standards.

Benefits

The position is full‑time, Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3 pm, with a pay rate of up to $18 DOE. Applicants must reside within 30 minutes of the Delray area.
