About the Role
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical components in commercial settings while adhering to safety standards and local codes. The role requires flexibility as duties may vary day‑to‑day. • Plan layout and install wiring, equipment, and fixtures per job specifications and codes • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components • Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, etc. • Install conduit, pull insulated wires, and complete circuit terminations • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools • Perform electrical inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code compliance • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams • Install wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures and verify functionality and safety • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on schedule and within budget • Conduct pre‑job planning, adhere to safety protocols, and attend daily toolbox meetings • Work in all weather conditions, high‑noise environments, and around construction machinery • Climb, balance on scaffolds, ladders, and steel/wood frameworks; bend, crawl, kneel, and stand for extended periods • Maintain constant alertness and follow safety procedures • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members • Apply math calculations, decision‑making, and attention to detail while working under distractions

What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent apprenticeship • Minimum five years of electrical trade experience • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local/state codes • Proficiency with power tools, testing equipment, and computer/email applications • Experience with high‑voltage and low‑voltage systems in commercial and residential settings • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and perform basic frame carpentry • Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform repetitive hand/arm motions
