About the Role
As a Site Engineer and technical lead, you will support the Project Construction Manager, serve as site lead in their absence, and produce written reports, presentations, and progress data. You will collaborate with contractors, client stakeholders, Parsons engineering staff and SMEs to resolve field engineering challenges, develop scopes, estimates, and schedule impacts, and review pay applications, submittals, quality‑control plans, and construction techniques. Participation in pre‑construction conferences, progress meetings, and close coordination with the Site Team and Project Engineering staff is required. • Serve as Site Engineer and technical lead, acting as site lead in the Project Manager’s absence • Produce written reports, presentations, and progress data for the construction site • Coordinate with contractors, client stakeholders, and Parsons SMEs to resolve field engineering issues • Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and schedule impacts for field changes • Review and comment on construction techniques, quality‑control plans, safety plans, and contractor submittals • Lead pay application reviews and prepare responses to RFIs • Participate in pre‑construction conferences, progress meetings, and quality‑control coordination meetings

What You Bring
The company is seeking experienced Project Engineers to join a major program and construction‑management team supporting a large government customer on a critical infrastructure project for U.S. border security. The role will be based out of project offices or trailers on construction sites near Deming and Santa Teresa, NM, and may involve remote locations. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture, at least ten years of construction‑management experience, U.S. citizenship, a valid driver’s license, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Desired qualifications include PE/RA registration, PMP or CCM certification, experience with large federal agencies, remote‑site construction, and recent training in construction quality management, OSHA 30‑hour safety, or similar courses. • Require Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture and minimum 10 years of construction‑management experience • Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license and clear communication skills • Desired: PE/RA registration, PMP or CCM certification, recent Construction Quality Management or OSHA 30‑hour training • Experience with web‑based project management information systems (e.g., Procore, Kahua, USACE RMS)
