About the Role
The role involves operating one or two pieces of equipment—such as a baler, front‑end loader, bobcat, condensing unit, or forklift—to transport or bind paper and other loose materials for efficient handling. • Operate baler, front‑end loader, bobcat, condensing unit, or forklift to move and bind paper or loose materials. • Sort, grade, and inspect material quality before baling or shipping. • Load, unload, and stack materials from trailers, railcars, containers, and bins. • Record and label materials, maintain inventory records, and compile worksheets per customer specifications. • Start and monitor baler operations, respond to prompts and alarms, and document downtime. • Perform routine equipment maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, cleaning, and supplying wire for the baler. • Ensure safety in work areas and comply with all safety policies and procedures. • Coordinate material flow with the MRF Manager and follow loading/unloading sheets and bills of lading. • Complete load/unload tally sheets and vehicle condition reports as required.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include at least six months of prior experience and a forklift certification; a high school diploma or GED and one year of experience are preferred. The job combines office tasks (computers, phones, copy machines) with plant/field work and involves typical physical demands of a warehouse environment.
