About the Role
In this position you will help investigate and restore contaminated soil and groundwater, working closely with project teams to develop and manage remediation strategies that protect communities and meet regulatory requirements. Your duties will include evaluating contamination levels, conducting field investigations and sampling, designing and optimizing remediation systems, analyzing environmental data with GIS and spreadsheet tools, and delivering clear technical reports and client presentations while adhering to health‑ and safety protocols. • Evaluate contamination extent and support risk assessments. • Conduct field investigations, sampling, and oversee drilling and subcontractor activities. • Design, optimize, and implement remediation systems using standard engineering techniques. • Prepare work plans, cost estimates, schedules, and proposals for remediation projects. • Compile and analyze environmental data with spreadsheets, databases, and GIS; develop groundwater flow models. • Produce accurate technical reports and client presentations; ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.

We require a bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, engineering or a related discipline, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and database software, the ability to perform fieldwork and lift up to 30 lb, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include HAZWOPER certification, ArcGIS experience, and prior experience preparing technical reports and designing remediation systems. • Required: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office and database software, ability to perform fieldwork and lift up to 30 lb, valid driver’s license, medical clearance for site visits. • Preferred: HAZWOPER certification, ArcGIS proficiency, experience preparing technical reports and presentations, knowledge of remediation system design and optimization.
