About the Role
The role is responsible for creating compliant proposals and pitches that demonstrate why clients should work with Turner & Townsend. Working within a larger bidding team, the post holder ensures timely creation and submission of bid documentation. • Upload tender forms, contracts and NDAs to the contracts database and follow up as required. • Review RFPs, confirm the bidding team and collaborate with the bid lead on the response. • Develop the bid plan and contribute win themes with the bid lead. • Coordinate tender queries and clarifications from the client, distributing them to the bid team. • Review bid documents and compile content from previous bids, best‑practice answers and the bid portal. • Convert CVs to Turner & Townsend format for proposed external team members. • Proofread colleagues’ bid response documents for accuracy, spelling, grammar and relevance. • Arrange director review and approval of proposals before client submission. • Ensure timely delivery of hard‑copy proposals. • Prepare presentation slides for post‑tender interviews. • Liaise with the team and client for tender interview logistics. • Collaborate with other Bid Specialists to maintain consistent bid quality. • Work with the Business Generation team to keep the central bid library updated and file bids correctly. • Update marketing collateral such as capability statements and case studies. • Search procurement portals regularly for new leads and opportunities. • Assist in registering and updating procurement portal subscriptions.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has strong writing and editing abilities, excellent communication, and experience with bid portals. They are highly organized, can work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. A relevant degree (e.g., Marketing, Business, English or Engineering) and demonstrable experience in producing bid responses are preferred, along with proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint and design software such as InDesign. APMP Foundation certification is advantageous.
