About the Role

The Turf Technician will maintain turf across various sports fields, performing mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control. They will operate a range of machinery—including tractors, sprayers, and mowers—work independently most days with occasional team collaboration, and travel across North Shore to service key facilities. • Maintain and care for turf on sports fields (mowing, fertilizing, aerating, pest control) • Operate tractors, sprayers and mowers safely • Travel throughout North Shore to service key facilities • Work independently with occasional team collaboration

We’re looking for a Turf Technician to join our team and help keep North Shore’s sports grounds in top condition. The ideal candidate has experience in turf maintenance, farming, orchards, or similar machinery‑heavy roles. Required skills include confident operation of large machinery, a preferred Class 2 driver’s licence, and a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (AHC31324) or equivalent experience. • Apply experience in turf maintenance, farming or orchard work • Hold a Class 2 driver’s licence and operate large machinery confidently • Possess or work towards a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (AHC31324) • Upskill and obtain formal qualifications
