About the Role
The company seeks a Technology Trainer to lead in‑person training for technical new hires, existing employees, and customers. The role involves educating staff and customers on ON.energy’s processes and technology, developing compelling presentations, and driving learning outcomes in an entrepreneurial, fast‑paced environment. The trainer will design, develop, and deliver training programs on battery storage technologies, create engaging materials for diverse learning styles, and build self‑paced LMS modules. They will stay current with industry trends, collaborate with technical teams for content accuracy, and travel approximately 25 % for training delivery and media capture. • Design, develop, and deliver in-person training programs on battery storage technologies, including batteries and inverters. • Conduct regular training sessions for onboarding new technical employees and as-needed sessions for customers. • Create engaging presentations and training materials tailored to various learning styles. • Design and implement self-paced training modules within a learning management system (LMS). • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure training content is accurate and up to date. • Travel approximately 25 % to deliver or receive in-person training and capture media for training use.

What You Bring
Candidates need at least two years of technical training experience, preferably in renewable energy or battery storage, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Strong communication, independent work style, proficiency with PowerPoint and LMS tools, and the ability to maintain NFPA 70E, OSHA 10, and CPR certifications are required. • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience delivering technical training; renewable energy experience preferred. • Bachelor’s degree or additional 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting. • Proficiency in developing training materials using tools like PowerPoint and LMS. • Able to obtain and maintain certifications: NFPA 70E, OSHA 10 (or better), CPR. • Experience in the battery storage energy sector. • Holds certifications authorizing delivery of internal training programs aligned with industry standards (OSHA, NFPA, CPR, etc.).
