About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager supports land‑development and entitlement teams through feasibility analysis, budgeting, permitting, and coordination with contractors and city agencies, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. Key duties include managing administrative tasks, scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, facilitating cross‑department communication, preparing reports, and representing the company at public hearings. • Oversee administrative functions such as task distribution, meeting scheduling, and operational reporting. • Supervise administrative assistants across departments. • Prepare, review, and archive legal, operational, and project documentation. • Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and contract management for community development projects. • Support permit acquisition, approvals, and regulatory compliance. • Coordinate communications between Marketing, Sales, Accounting, and Land Development teams. • Plan and execute project‑related meetings, events, and trade‑show participation. • Compile and submit reports on home starts, completions, purchase orders, and other key data. • Monitor project progress, including utility management, bond exoneration, and HOA transitions. • Represent the company at public hearings and liaise with governmental agencies.

What You Bring
Candidates need a high school diploma (college preferred), at least one year of homebuilding or land‑development experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Project a plus), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on‑site in Spokane, WA under physical demands. • High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred. • Minimum 1 + year experience in homebuilding, land development, or related field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel; MS Project preferred. • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel within Spokane, WA. • Ability to work onsite, including physical tasks such as lifting >25 lb, climbing ladders, and operating construction equipment.
